ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Facilities Supervisor, youxe2x80x99ll oversee, manage, and ensure the safety of our facility assets, including buildings, marine structures, and utilities. Working closely with senior leaders, youxe2x80x99ll strategize and execute maintenance plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFacilities Maintenance Management (60%)

• Develop and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs with KPSs.

• Manage contractors and consultants for scopes of work, compliance, and execution.

• Assist in engineering studies, facilities-related projects, and project coordination.

Day-to-Day Maintenance Operations (20%)

• Manage unionized maintenance and janitorial staff.

• Conduct meetings, toolbox talks, and workflow management using ERP systems.

• Participate in safety meetings and develop operational procedures.

Procurement & Budgeting (15%)

• Source goods and services, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.

• Oversee budgets, warranty enforcement, and capital expenditure planning.

Reporting (5%)

• Provide updates on maintenance activities, compliance, and project status.

WHAT YOU BRINGKnowledge:

• A degree in engineering or trade certification is preferred (Engineer-in-Training welcomed).

• 2+ years of experience (co-op placements considered)

• Thorough knowledge of reliability and maintenance best practices of port terminal business, including IT-based enterprise asset management systems xe2x80x9cEAMxe2x80x9d.

• Heavy industry background is preferred

• Unionized work environment experience is an asset.
