We are accepting applications for a permanent full-time Supervisor- Customer Service to join our Community Services team. The Supervisor-Recreation Operations is responsible for leading a team of unionized staff to achieve excellence in customer service and administration within the Comox Valley Regional District's Sports and Aquatic Centres. Reporting to the Manager of Recreation Administration, the primary responsibilities of this role include:
Scheduling, supervising, training, mentoring and providing day-to-day direction to customer service staff;
Supporting the Administration Coordinator with daily cash reconciliation and preparation of bank deposits;
Coordinating the production of print materials such as the recreation guide, brochures, posters, and other publications in accordance with corporate branding standards;
Assisting the Manager of Recreation Administration with implementation of customer service programs and ensuring performance standards are met;
Administering the PLAY Program;
Serving as a resource to Customer Service Representatives for the PerfectMind software program;
Responding to routine inquiries, providing assistance to patrons, and resolving the more serious complaints from the public which have escalated beyond the level of other staff;
Performing the same duties as Customer Service Representatives as needed;
Tracking, preparing, and maintaining a variety of records and statistics on programs and services;
Performing opening and closing procedures for the Comox Valley Sports and Aquatic Centres;
Maintaining a cooperative and positive relationship with the public,
Enforcing facility rules consistently, tactfully, safely, and promptly.
