Supervision Aide/Bayit

We are hiring a Supervision Aide to work in VTT's Bayit Program for the 2025/26 school year. This position is a part-time position from 3:30pm to 5:15pm one day a week (currently Fridays, with the possibility to work additional hours).

Candidates need not be Jewish, but must be receptive and open to working in a Jewish day school environment.





Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:


Experience working with children in large groups Can help facilitate games and activities for students Has a positive attitude and works well with others Good communication skills Excellent conflict resolution skills Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather Responsible for supervising students in VTT's After School (Bayit) Program. Ensure student safety and that students comply with school rules, ensuring appropriate behavior. Intervene in potentially unsafe play situations and facilitate conflict resolutions between students. Walking and standing for the duration of the shift. Required to circulate the school grounds, focus on your surroundings and remain alert at all times. Formal education/training is an asset. Consent to a criminal ("CRC") record/vulnerable sector check and provide a resulting valid CRC Maintain, at all times, the legal authorization to work in Canada
