Le superviseur, planification m\xc3\xa9dia travaille en \xc3\xa9troite collaboration avec le directeur de la planification sur tous les aspects de la planification m\xc3\xa9dia et est le principal contact quotidien avec le client. En travaillant avec des \xc3\xa9quipes interfonctionnelles pour acc\xc3\xa9der \xc3\xa0 tous les services qu\xe2\x80\x99offre EssenceMediacom, il veille \xc3\xa0 la r\xc3\xa9alisation des objectifs de son client.

\xc3\x80 ce titre, vous maintiendrez un large niveau d\'implication sur le compte qui vous sera confi\xc3\xa9, en encourageant un produit m\xc3\xa9dia de la plus haute qualit\xc3\xa9 ainsi que la satisfaction du client. Vous serez \xc3\xa9galement responsable du d\xc3\xa9veloppement et de la croissance des membres de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe plus juniors en veillant \xc3\xa0 ce qu\'ils soient expos\xc3\xa9s \xc3\xa0 toutes les facettes n\xc3\xa9cessaires du processus de planification.

VOS RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S
  • D\xc3\xa9velopper et entretenir les relations avec les clients et les agences partenaires
  • Diriger le d\xc3\xa9veloppement des plans m\xc3\xa9dia, y compris des analyses m\xc3\xa9dia pour appuyer les recommandations
  • Utiliser les outils de recherche (Vividata, Commspoint, ComScore, outils propri\xc3\xa9taires de EssenceMediacom, etc.) pour \xc3\xa9laborer les recommandations
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer et pr\xc3\xa9senter les plans m\xc3\xa9dia, comprenant les objectifs, une strat\xc3\xa9gie et un argumentaire qui s\'appuient sur la donn\xc3\xa9e et la r\xc3\xa9flexion solide
  • Superviser, orienter et conseiller les membres de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de planification m\xc3\xa9dia relativement aux activit\xc3\xa9s quotidiennes
  • D\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9guer le travail efficacement et guider les membres de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de planification m\xc3\xa9dia afin de fournir un travail homog\xc3\xa8ne au client
  • Rester inform\xc3\xa9 de toutes les communications avec l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de planification, notamment les autorisations d\xe2\x80\x99achat, les rapports de suivi, les modifications d\xe2\x80\x99achat, etc.
  • Assurer la gestion constante des campagnes
  • Gestion serr\xc3\xa9e des budgets m\xc3\xa9dia en travaillant de pair avec le service des finances
  • Participer aux r\xc3\xa9unions client/agence en tant que repr\xc3\xa9sentant quotidien du groupe produit du service m\xc3\xa9dia
  • Agir en toute int\xc3\xa9grit\xc3\xa9 en g\xc3\xa9rant les relations au sein de l\xe2\x80\x99agence et des partenaires m\xc3\xa9dia pour assurer la compr\xc3\xa9hension de la marque, vendre les id\xc3\xa9es plus efficacement et contribuer aux \xc3\xa9valuations positives de l\xe2\x80\x99agence
  • Rencontrer les repr\xc3\xa9sentants de l\xe2\x80\x99industrie pour acqu\xc3\xa9rir des connaissances de toutes les phases et \xc3\xaatre le point de contact des partenaires m\xc3\xa9dia
  • Avoir une profonde connaissance du march\xc3\xa9 du Qu\xc3\xa9bec et de sa culture
  • D\xc3\xa9montrer une compr\xc3\xa9hension des activit\xc3\xa9s du client

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Media Planning Supervisor works closely with the planning Director on all aspects of media planning and is the primary day-to-day contact with the client. Working with cross-functional teams to access all services offered by EssenceMediacom, you will ensure that client objectives are met.

As such, you will maintain a high level of involvement with the account entrusted to you, promoting the highest quality media product and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for the development and growth of more junior team members, ensuring that they are exposed to all necessary facets of the planning process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and agency partners
  • Lead the development of media plans, including media analysis to support recommendations
  • Use research tools (Vividata, Commspoint, ComScore, EssenceMediacom proprietary tools, etc.) to develop recommendations
  • Prepare and present media plans, including objectives, strategy and rationale based on data and sound thinking
  • Supervise, guide, and advise media planning team members on day-to-day activities
  • Delegate work effectively and guide media planning team members to deliver seamless work to the client
  • Keep abreast of all communications with the planning team, including buy approvals, tracking reports, buy changes, etc.
  • Ensure ongoing campaign management
  • Assume financial accountability for media by working with client and partner agency finance departments.
  • Participate in client/agency meetings as the day-to-day representative of the media department\'s product group
  • Act with integrity in managing relationships within the agency and with media partners to ensure brand understanding, sell ideas more effectively and contribute to positive agency reviews
  • Meet with industry representatives to gain knowledge of all phases and touch points of media partners
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the Quebec market and its culture
  • Demonstrate understanding of client\'s business
  • Actively seek, investigate, and pursue new communications and innovation opportunities.


YOUR PROFILE
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Outstanding time management skills and proven ability to prioritize and organize workload, while operating under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work on your own initiative; proactive, forward-thinking mindset; consistently demonstrate a practical, well-organized approach to all tasks
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other multidisciplinary teams
  • Mastery of media plan implementation with a thorough understanding of the media planning process involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of research tools and media planning software required for the role
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in media tools (Prisma, DDS, Media Tools)


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • College diploma or bachelor\'s degree, preferably with specialization in advertising, marketing, business administration or communications, or equivalent work experience
  • More than 5 years of relevant media experience, with a preference for media planning
  • Experience in the full cycle of strategy and media plan development
  • Ability to develop strategic thinking and recommendations rooted in knowledge of the client\'s category, consumer insights, the competition and a brand\'s communications ecosystem
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and in writing in both French and English
