SPARK is looking to add another Supervised Instructor Therapist to our team, as a full-time employee!

SPARK Pediatric Services is a private practice in the Windsor-Essex area serving children/youth and their families. SPARK offers a variety of therapies and services to meet children's unique needs.
The Supervised Instructor Therapist will participate in the delivery of Direct Treatment Behavioural Services programming to facilitate clients' skill development in areas such as academics/school readiness, activities of daily living, communication, self-regulation, emotional learning, and social skills, as well as the reduction of challenging behaviours. Location:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering in-centre therapy at both our Lakeshore and Windsor clinics, and in clients' homes/community settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implementing individualized treatment plans with clients and accurately collecting data
- Preparing programming materials
- Accessing the supervision and guidance of the qualified supervising RBA/BCBA
- Participating in toileting and self-help routines with clients, as required
- Communicating verbally and in writing with parent(s)/guardian(s) in a professional and positive manner
- Utilizing SPARK's data collection, electronic charting, and messaging communication systems
- Adhering to SPARK's policies and procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science, or equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary education and experience
- 1+ year experience applying the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and working with children and youth with autism
- Comfort with learning new computer software
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team
- Access to a reliable vehicle in order to provide services at both clinic locations and home/community visits, as required.
