The Superintendent will be held accountable for the timely completion and quality installation of projects.
Outcomes:
Works with project manager on scheduling all installation crews, installation planning, site logistics, erection methodology, equipment requirements, and quality assurance plans
Works closely with the operations team to maintain, forecast, and purchase site material, supplies, and tool inventory
Attends site meetings and ensures timely completion of FLRA's, QBO timesheets, site daily reports
Responsible for site measurements for fabrication
Setting the required installation pace and ensuring completion of work within the allotted time by physically assisting when required
Proactively manages potential problems, work interferences, and schedule conflicts/setbacks
Consistent site visits to ensure quality of projects
Monitor projects to ensure safe and clean environments and follow all company, contractor, and OH&S health and safety requirements
Final site walk around to identify deficiencies after job completion
Support collaboration while minimizing conflict and fostering a positive work environment
Develop strategies to increase productivity
Analyze installation metrics and data to determine areas to improve
Lead, manage, mentor, and train new employees
Enforcing lead hands on the upkeep and maintenance of company trucks and lifts
Competencies:
Minimum 5 years of field supervision experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of glazing experience
Can read and interpret blue prints, specifications, architectural drawings, shop drawings, etc.
