Christ House of Glory International Church is a growing, prayerful and Word based Church and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. As a team member, you will be part of providing a quality, Christian-based program that will help shape and impact the early learning of children.
Duties
Develop and implement Christian principles and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage children in learning activities, ensuring all students are included and supported.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with Senior Pastor and leadership team to create a cohesive educational experience for all children
Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
Assess children's developmental progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary to meet diverse needs.
Maintain an organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
Requirements
Implement a Christian based program that provides a variety of child initiated and adult- supported experiences for each child to thrive mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially
Plan, organize and implement a warm, caring environment for each child to grow and be committed to develop strategies to meet the needs of each child
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a busy classroom environment.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in students while promoting teamwork among staff members.
A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.46-$25.00 per hour
