We are seeking a motivated and responsible
Summer Student Cashier
to join our team at our convenience store. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable retail experience in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately Greet customers and provide excellent service Stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays as needed Maintain cleanliness of the store (sweeping, wiping counters, etc.) Follow all safety, hygiene, and store procedures Assist with inventory counts and receiving deliveries Other duties as assigned by the store manager
Requirements:
Must be a current student returning to school in the fall Must be at least 16 years of age Friendly, polite, and reliable Strong communication and math skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset but not required Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $16.00-$16.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
French not required
Shift:
8 hour shift
Work days:
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
