$1,574.56 bi-weekly, Youth Employment Program - Level 2, based on a 35-hour work week


An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.

An additional 6% Vacation Pay will be added to posted salary.

An additional $.87 per working hour, up to $60.90, Health & Welfare Allowance will be added to posted salary.

Orphans & Restoration is a branch within the BCER responsible for all aspects of the decommissioning and restoration of Orphan sites. The team implements a strategic approach to the closure of sites where there is no responsible party, ensuring that disturbances are restored responsibly, and the costs are not borne by the public. Summer students are a valuable part of the BCER workforce. Reporting to the Manager, Orphan Restoration, this position will be responsible for completion of assigned tasks, including project coordination, including contractor cost and task tracking, performing site inspections, and reporting results. The student will assist in the day-to-day activities of the site restoration programs. As a member of the Orphans & Restoration team, the student works collaboratively to support the business unit needs.
