Job Description

The Sports Medicine team in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to support clinical and research activities in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and able to manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and reliability. Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing deadlines. Experience with data management, large datasets, or statistical software (SPSS) is a plus. 3D printing experience is an asset.

JOB DESCRIPTION / TASKS

Assist with ongoing clinical and academic research projects. Collect, enter, and maintain research data, including patient info and surgical assessments. Conduct chart reviews and support colleagues with research data needs. Track project progress and help ensure deadlines are met. Support manuscript preparation through literature reviews, drafting, editing, and formatting. Organize datasets and assist with basic data analysis. Complete research ethics training and maintain certification. Observe and participate in patient care clinics to learn how research and clinical practice integrate. Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare and research team. Maintain confidentiality and data security.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
