This position is required to work in the Lacombe central office.
However, periodically may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC's Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.
Reporting to the Manager - Business Services, the Summer Student will be responsible for a full range of property management duties including grounds maintenance (lawn care, mowing, weeding, gardening etc.), minor repairs, organizing products and shipments, assist with renovation/relocation projects, furniture and equipment installation and other assigned duties related to the responsibility of the department.
Over the summer, you will develop a level of familiarity with facility operations and property management activities. You will be a self-starter, develop great communication skills, learn to create a positive client experience and be able to analyze and organize your tasks and schedule in line with changing priorities. You will assist with various requests from internal clients, and provide assistance where needed.
Candidates should at least be in high school or enrolled in, registered to attend or attending a post-secondary institution in the fall of 2025.
