Overview:



StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, motivated Mechanical Engineering students for summer term positions (4 months) to support StandardAero's production and growth projects for the 2026 summer term. This work may cover support in the following areas:


Production Engineering

Service Engineering

Quality Engineering

Operations

Facilities Engineering

Process Engineering


What You'll do:



Develop repairs for engine components. Reprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction Develop repair on non-conforming parts Perform technical manual reviews Review tooling requirements and implement into shop Write technical reports and procedures. Coordinate process improvement initiatives. Create electronic manual revisions. Perform engine performance analysis. Find alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting Assist in planning and implementing facility improvements, maintenance projects, and energy efficiency initiatives to support safe and efficient operations. Other projects as assigned

What Skills You'll need (required experience/availability):



Must have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills. Strong project management skills. Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles Working knowledge computers and MS Office experience/knowledge. Must be available to work for the full summer term, from the first week of May through the last week of August.
