The Data and CRM Management Intern will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integration, and optimization of Nisa Foundation's data and communication systems. This position offers hands-on experience with CRM tools, data analysis, and system integration while contributing to the Foundation's efficiency and program effectiveness. The intern will work closely with various teams to identify improvements and create streamlined processes that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM and Communication System Review & Maintenance:Review the current CRM system (e.g., Dynamics 365) for data accuracy, gaps, and process inefficiencies. Analyze RingCentral and other communication tools used by Nisa Foundation, ensuring that client communication and service tracking are integrated and recorded properly within the CRM. Assist in updating and maintaining client data and service records across all relevant platforms (CRM, SharePoint, RingCentral).


Data Management & Integration:Conduct a comprehensive review of SharePoint and how it integrates with CRM and other tools to ensure that client and program data is consistent and accessible across systems. Identify opportunities to streamline data management, improve accessibility, and reduce redundancies in data entry and tracking across platforms.


Reporting & Data Analysis:Generate reports for internal stakeholders and funders on program outcomes, client services, and communication metrics, using CRM, RingCentral, and other tools as necessary. Provide insights based on data analysis to identify areas for program improvement and ensure that Nisa Foundation's reporting meets stakeholder needs.

System Support & Training:Assist staff in troubleshooting and improving their use of CRM, RingCentral, and other relevant management tools. Document all improvements, updates, and changes to the CRM and communication systems, and provide training or resources to staff for better system utilization.

Final Report & Recommendations:Compile a final report that includes an evaluation of the CRM system, RingCentral, SharePoint, and other data management tools, with clear recommendations for improvements. Propose enhancements to streamline data flows and optimize communication management systems to support Nisa Foundation's growth.


EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in information systems, data management, or related fields. Previous experience with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365), RingCentral, and/or data management platforms is preferred. Strong attention to detail, data analysis, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Dynamics 365 and RingCentral. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative to improve data management processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to create clear reports and documentation. Proficiency in Arabic or Urdu is an asset.


Eligibility

This position is part of the Canadian government's summer job program.Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or a protected person within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Able to provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN). Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
