KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


We are currently seeking a post-secondary student (preferably enrolled in Education or Library Sciences) with leadership skills who has a love of reading and working with children to plan and run the summer reading program in the Yellowknife Public Library.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post secondary student, preferably enrolled in Education or Library Sciences;
• Strong computer skills are essential, as is a demonstrated ability in working with groups of children;
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check (vulnerable sector) completed prior to commencing work; and
• Must be available for the duration of the summer.

HOURS OF WORK AND RATE OF PAY


Rate of Pay: $38.40 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay


Anticipated Start Date: May 1, 2025


Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
