The Uplift Summer Camp, hosted by Oasis of Grace Family and Multicultural Centre, is a transformative program dedicated to fostering skill development, personal growth, and community engagement among youth.
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to supervise and engage
campers aged 9-15
in a dynamic camp environment.

The Camp Counselor will supervise and engage campers aged 9-15 during various activities, assist instructors in classrooms, and support camp operations, ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive experience. The role requires energy, versatility, and a passion for supporting youth development through teamwork and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
:
Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Assist instructors in classrooms for courses like computer skills, media studio, and arts and crafts (e.g., distribute supplies, support behaviour management).
Support Friday presentations by helping set up displays (e.g., videos, crafts, tech projects).
Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
Maintain a 1:10 supervision ratio with Coordinator support.
Collaborate with camp staff to align activities with the camp's objectives.
Provide feedback on camper engagement and program success for future improvement.
Qualifications
:
Experience working with youth in camps, schools, or mentorship settings is preferred.
Educational qualification in Education, Recreation, Social Work, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience working with youth in a camp, educational, or mentorship setting is an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about empowering youth.
Must be a
Canadian citizen or permanent resident between the ages 18 - 30
