We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance instruction, with the ability to teach students of various ages and skill levels. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels Foster a supportive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve Prepare lesson plans that incorporate fundamental dance techniques and creative movement Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines during all activities Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize recitals, performances, or special events Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events Incorporate elements of classroom experience and early childhood education into lesson planning when working with young children

Skills

Proven experience with tutoring or teaching dance or related movement disciplines Strong ability to teach children and adapt lessons to various age groups Excellent communication skills and patience when working with students of all levels Experience with children's education, including classroom experience or early childhood education is a plus Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative lesson plans Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment Basic cooking skills are considered a nice-to-have for integrating health and wellness activities into programs

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
