running and building their own finance team
. You will be responsible for leading subprime operations, coaching your team, managing lender relationships, and driving consistent approvals and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, manage, and lead a high-performing subprime finance team.
Work directly with customers to structure deals and secure approvals through various lenders.
Maintain and grow strong relationships with financial institutions specializing in subprime lending.
Drive department performance through training, mentorship, and accountability.
Develop innovative strategies to increase approvals, gross, and overall dealership performance.
Monitor compliance with all regulations and dealership policies.
Report directly to ownership with KPIs and department growth plans.
Qualifications:
Minimum
4 years of experience
in subprime automotive finance.
Proven track record of success in securing approvals and maximizing profitability.
Strong knowledge of lender programs, credit bureaus, and deal structuring.
Leadership experience with the ability to
build and manage your own team
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
