Position Overview:

Registered Massage Therapists are esteemed members of the team at Hammam Spa. A successful RMT will offer exceptional services while providing extraordinary client care. A full range of services is required to be provided by the right candidate, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport, Aromatherapy, and Prenatal massage treatments. A successful RMT must be able to build rapport with clients, develop treatment plans, encourage repeat visits, and build a loyal client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Abides by the Hammam Spa Policies and Procedures Guide Provides safe, effective, relaxing services using advanced massage techniques, and readily adapts to client feedback. Ability to provide 30, 45, 60, and 90-minute treatments Review the client's Health History prior to services, adapting for any contraindications Complete post-treatment client notes Provides exceptional customer service Provides competent home care recommendations to clients Maintains the cleanliness of treatment rooms and common-use areas of the spa Ensures the proper, safe use of spa equipment Responsible for fostering a healthy attitude and working relationships with all coworkers and members of the management team. Other tasks as assigned

Requirements for Employees:

Fluency in English In good standing with CMTO and all Insurance providers Exceptional client care skills Experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome! Dependable work ethic Courteous and professional demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods of time Must be well-groomed and comply with the spa's dress-code policy Availability to work evening/weekend shifts

Requirements for Subcontractors:

Must have an HST number and be registered as a business In good standing with CMTO and all Insurance providers Exceptional client care skills Ability to provide a range of massage therapies (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport, Aromatherapy, Prenatal) Dependable work ethic and professional demeanor Flexibility to work at least one weekend day Must be able to submit invoices and handle their own taxes

Education and Experience:

Completion of Massage Therapy School Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in good standing Previous spa or hospitality experience is an asset

Schedule for Employees:

10-hour shift 4-hour shift 8-hour shift

Schedule for Subcontractors:

Flexible based on availability and client demand
