About the Opportunity

The Building Union of Canada (BUC), is expanding rapidly into the

grocery store and supermarket sector

. We're seeking

experienced and motivated Refrigeration Technicians

to join our growing team across Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on

supermarket refrigeration installations, service, and maintenance projects

across many locations, helping to grow our mechanical division dedicated to refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain supermarket and grocery store refrigeration systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration and HVAC systems Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely, high-quality installations Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician (supermarket or commercial experience preferred) G2 or G3 Gas Technician license is an asset Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
