About the Role
We're looking for a
versatile, creative, and organized team member
to join our team in a hybrid role that blends
social media content creation
,
studio admin support
, and
retail sales
. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our community engaged online, assisting with day-to-day studio operations, and helping customers in our Merch Room. This is a great role for someone who's social media savvy, loves music and local culture, and thrives in a small business environment where no two days are the same.
What You'll Do:
Social Media & Marketing (Approx. 40%)
Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels) for Instagram and TikTok
Use Canva to design promotional materials for events, classes, and the Merch Room
Develop and maintain a content calendar in coordination with the owner
Share behind-the-scenes moments and spotlight our students, instructors, and merch
Monitor DMs and respond to basic customer questions
Studio Administrative Support (Approx. 40%)
Greet and assist students and families
Help register students, manage schedules, and answer emails
Keep the studio clean, organized, and welcoming
Assist with occasional event coordination or studio projects
Retail & Customer Service (Approx. 20%)
Manage sales in The Merch Room using Square POS
Restock merchandise and maintain appealing product displays
Answer questions about lesson packages and sign-up procedures
Promote our merch and music lesson offerings to walk-in customers
You'd Be a Great Fit If You:
Are creative, outgoing, and comfortable making and being in videos
Have experience using Instagram, TikTok, and Canva
Are a clear communicator -- both online and in person
Can juggle multiple tasks and keep things organized
Love music and enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team
Bonus: Have experience with Excel/Google Sheets, Square, or email marketing
Requirements:
Must be available to work in person at our studio
Comfortable with basic tech tools (email, spreadsheets, Canva, social apps)
Prior experience in customer service, admin, or content creation is a plus
Must be 18+
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule:
Thursdays-Sundays, Afternoons/Evenings
Pay:
$22-$25 depending on experience
