Theatre Arts and Dance Academy (formerly Haois Singing & Music Theatre School) is a performing arts school serving aspiring performers in Markham. Our team of arts educators guides performers of all ages through engaging programs built on performing arts fundamentals (singing, acting, and dancing) to help them build skills, including confidence, collaboration, public speaking, and much more.

The Role
As Studio Manager and Enrolment Specialist, you will be the face of our studio and play a crucial role in the day to day operation of our studio. The ideal candidate will possess high emotional intelligence, strong experience in direct customer sales, customer service, and office organization. You will be required to work onsite during our weekend lessons, and have flexible remote office hours outside of these times.
What You'll Be Doing
Community Outreach / Digital Marketing:
Creating content and proactively generating leads and engaging on Xiaohongshu (Rednote), Facebook, and Instagram to spark interest and book trial classes.
Closing new customers:
following up with families after trial classes / inquiries to finalize enrolment
Client Management:
be the first point of contact for existing customers, helping them organize lesson times, competition registration etc.
Studio Operations:
Managing the "front of house" during lesson times, ensuring the lobby is welcoming and organized.
Inventory and Logistics:
proactively ordering supplies, keeping supplies and studio organized and tidy
General Support:
Supporting the team during special events / projects, including end of term shows, theatre visits etc.

Requirements
Bilingual Mastery:
Professional-level fluency in
Mandarin and English
is essential; writing, reading and speaking
Completed university or college degree in Arts Administration, Business, Marketing, or Communications, or other equivalent experience
Proven sales, or recruitment history
Able work on-site during
weekend

Knowledge and experience in Digital Marketing, specifically Xiaohongshu (Rednote), Instagram, and Facebook
