Job Description

Altea's Studio Fitness Manager infuses energy, enthusiasm and a playful spirit into our studio fitness program. You lead a team of dedicated studio fitness instructors, create exiting events, and ensure our members have a blast while breaking a sweat. You're a fitness enthusiast who has a unique skillset of overseeing and managing the operations of various "boutique-like" studios under one roof, while also energetically and authentically spreading joy and optimism to members by teaching a variety of your own studio fitness classes.



You are a go-getter who takes pride in overseeing and managing the entire studio fitness team, the day-to-day operations of studio fitness, including maintaining equipment, implementing policies and procedures and ensuring an exceptional member experience. You enjoy driving revenue, marketing initiatives and overseeing administrative tasks. You thrive working in a hybrid environment that combines traditional office work and teaching your own studio fitness classes

You are a highly organized multi-tasker who is dedicated to helping our members improve their overall health and wellness while building and maintaining a team-oriented group fitness program within our state-of the art facility.

As a Studio Fitness Manager, a typical day might include the following:




A mountain of texts, phone calls and emails that you will need to prioritize Connect with a member regarding feedback that was provided Communicate updated changes to the schedule based on building maintenance updates Follow and review member attendance and participation in order to effectively craft next seasons studio fitness schedule Step in last minute to teach a studio fitness class Create team member schedule, record hours and submit weekly payroll.

To land this role you need to have;




Full Time Availability A College or University degree relating to the health and fitness industry Additional certifications or workshops relating to studio fitness Prior experience as a studio fitness instructor 3+ years of leadership and personnel management experience including proven success in coaching and motivating teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives. All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually. All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
