AMAZING JOB OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring Team Lead Studio Facilitators to work with our students after school in a creative art studio on Upper Lonsdale in North Vancouver, BC. Our boutique programs offer wonderful programming for kids and opportunities for assistants to grow as educators in the arts and education industry. We offer after school programming, camps, specialty workshops, art classes, birthday parties and team building workshops. If you are an educator and you love art, please be sure to apply!

We are currently looking for team leaders for our kids programs after school and summer camp staff. Our hours are 2pm-6pm most of the time but our schedules change for summer, spring and winter camps. We will require our team leaders to work occasional 7:30-9:00AM from September onwards. Alternating evening and weekend shifts are also required once a month minimum for birthday parties, adult painting parties, weekend events such as art and movie nights or specialty workshops, working booths at festivals, or other weekend events such as venue rentals at our facilities.

Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot work these hours in the summer as these shifts are not flexible for this job. All staff must be available for at minimum one weekend per month as well.

Clean driver's license is required. We shuttle our students from school to our facility in company vehicles. Applicant must have 10+ years driving experience plus a clean driver's abstract.

Full training provided. We are looking for team members who can commit to working with our students to the end of June 2025 for these hours. During Summer 2024 as well as Winter 2024 and Spring Break 2025, our camps are offered start and hours will change slightly for the shifts with the possibility for increased hours.

All of our team are also able to earn commissions, bonuses as well as referral fees.

Additional skills & training for our team include:

-Punctual with high work ethic in fast paced environment.

-Experience working with kids/students.

-Ability and confidence to lead a group of up to 30 students with support from the team.

-Assertiveness, leadership and command of a classroom or group of students is a must.

-Creativity and outside of the box thinking.

-Adaptable to student needs, sudden changes and ability to adjust or invent additional/advanced/extra curriculum on the spot.

-Positive attitude, personable with parents, kids and team.

-Art skills are encouraged but not necessary.

-Social media marketing skills as well as sales skills and intrapersonal relations are required for this position. All of our team are responsible for customer engagement, networking, social media posting, and door to door marketing outside of working in the classrooms.

Team Lead Studio Facilitator Role

Facilitators are responsible for collecting students from school, preparing and delivering the program curriculum to students. This role requires leading the lessons that are on the curriculum as well as general maintenance, boutique sales, marketing, art activity preparation and cleaning duties at Monika's Art Boutique & Studio. Team Leaders use checklists daily to document completion of tasks and report to location managers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
