The School of Rock Method builds musical proficiency through our proprietary Method App, SongFirst approach, and performance based music curriculum.
The Studio Coordinator is a highly trusted and important administrative focal point for the School of Rock. With outstanding customer service skills and the ability to juggle many tasks, the Studio Coordinator plays a key role in fostering the community and culture of the school. Reporting to the General Manager, they assist with running the School and creating an amazing experience for all students, parents and prospective customers.
Responsibilities
Handle complex scheduling for busy music school
Greet students and parents with a smile and ensure a rock star experience before and after lessons
Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions to address inquiries and resolve issues.Answers phones and field inquiries; pitch the music program
Schedule and lead tours for prospective students and parents; pitch the music program
Handle opening and closing of the school
Assist General Manager with a wide variety of tasks as required
Ensure the studio environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors
Adheres to the SOR Code of Conduct, safety policies, including the Monitoring and Supervision policy
Skills
Quick to learn software programs and process
Demonstrated passion for details and the customer experience
Welcoming, outgoing demeanour essential
Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills,h an emphasis on phone
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Sound business sense and always looking to learn and improve how we operate
Interest in music and related arts or experience working with young people is a plus

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
