ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a competent and dedicated
Student Services Coordinator
to join our team at our Hamilton campus. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for student concerns
Update all enrolment, withdrawal and cancelation data in CRM system, tracking and recording all lead sources
Close withdrawn and cancelled student files
Order & distribute books for all students
Manage campus seating charts based on master schedule
Prepare and issue student schedules
Administer student mid-point evaluations and NACC exam
Monitor student attendance daily
Effectively document progress and attendance issues, creating progress plans where necessary
Schedule and administrate CPR training
Provide practicum support, including issuing WSIB certificates, initiating student clearance for practicum, briefing students, distributing placement packages and tracking attendance
Support faculty training and development, including onboarding new faculty and orienting them to company policies and procedures
Continuously provide training and development plans to faculty, performing faculty classroom observations and feedback sessions
Initiate graduation process, checking file compliance
Generate weekly and monthly reports, including student progress reports, attendance reports, and student population reports
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required skills:
Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple job demands, problem solve and troubleshoot with minimal supervision
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and students
Experience:
Post-secondary education in Business or Administration preferred
Private Career College experience is considered an asset
