  Research and make recommendations to support resilience and futures thinking methods.

  Engage with partners and subject matter experts to identify emerging signals of change along with stresses and shocks that could impact our ability to deliver services and realize our quality-of-life outcomes.

  Research the implications of emerging change on Calgary and our organization.
• 
  Share findings in accessible formats for various audiences so that our organization, businesses and communities are better able to anticipate, shape, and respond to the future that is emerging.

Qualifications

• 
  Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Economics, Law, Business, or Social, Environmental, Computer or Political Science.
• 
  Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• 
  Success in the position requires strong written and verbal communications skills, thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to research, analyse, be creative and work independently.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 
  Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
• 
  If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $26.63 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.




Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
