  • Research and make recommendations to support resilience and futures thinking methods.

  • Engage with partners and subject matter experts to identify emerging signals of change along with stresses and shocks that could impact our ability to deliver services and realize our quality-of-life outcomes.

  • Research the implications of emerging change on Calgary and our organization.

  • Share findings in accessible formats for various audiences so that our organization, businesses and communities are better able to anticipate, shape, and respond to the future that is emerging.





Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Economics, Law, Business, or Social, Environmental, Computer or Political Science.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Success in the position requires strong written and verbal communications skills, thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to research, analyse, be creative and work independently.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.

  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $26.63 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.




Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
