A successful applicant will work with the principal investigator on the project "Assessing Municipal Community Plans and Federal Policies through the Well-being Lens". In particular, the student research assistant will collect municipal official community plans, analyze whether well-being considerations are present in these plans and then document discoveries in an information database. Additionally, the student research assistant will review the websites of Government of Canada's three central agencies and collect policies, reports and departmental plans for the purpose of identifying which of them reflect the well-being lens.
Position Requirements
This position is open to fourth-year undergraduate honors students or graduate students (Master's or PhD level). The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent document analysis skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with Saskatchewan municipal governance is an asset.
