Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, National Student Recruitment, the Supervisor provides leadership in planning, delivering, and evaluating on-campus and online engagement initiatives for both domestic and onshore international prospective students, their supporters, and professional influencers.



This role oversees a team of Student Recruitment professionals dedicated to creating impactful campus events and virtual experiences that inspire interest in Sheridan and foster meaningful connections across the enrolment funnel. The Supervisor ensures all initiatives align with Sheridan's institutional goals and the broader recruitment strategy, driving brand awareness, lead generation and conversion, and engagement to positively influence Sheridan's application and conversion rates.



Working collaboratively with colleagues in the Office of the Registrar, Communications, Public Affairs and Marketing, Facilities, Academic Faculties, and other departments, the Supervisor ensures a seamless approach to event planning and execution. The incumbent leverages data and best practices to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of recruitment activities and to continuously enhance the prospective student experience.

What You'll be Doing

Leading and overseeing the on-campus recruitment team, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and accountability across multiple campuses and remote locations. Planning and delivering major on-campus and online recruitment events, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor partnerships to create seamless, high-impact experiences. Directing strategic initiatives that engage domestic and international prospective students, supporters, and influencers, in collaboration with Outreach, Market Development, and academic partners. Leveraging data and technology (including Salesforce) to track performance, analyze outcomes, and implement continuous improvements that drive enrolment growth and ROI. Recruiting, training, and developing staff, fostering a high-performing, student-focused team and supporting the creation of a centralized student staffing model.

The successful applicant will also possess the following qualifications:

Must possess a minimum 4-year Bachelor degree or a 3-year degree with a post graduate certificate in Business, Marketing, Event Marketing or Sales (equivalencies considered) Demonstrated team leadership abilities Experience working with corporate event planning is desired Event Management certification is desired Must possess experience working with a CRM and leveraging data for optimizing event outcomes Must have a demonstrated track record and experience developing and managing multi-faceted in person and online events and evaluating metrics and actioning change.
