DUTIES

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Student Records Administrator is responsible for the delivery of all functional activities related to


student records processes. The incumbent maintains student records and procedures employed to track and assist students during their


academic careers from the application stage through to graduation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, student records


maintenance (maintain accuracy of records in UCN's Student Information System; track late grades; process requests for student records


access in accordance with UCN policies and FIPPA, etc.); registration and enrolment (oversees UCN's academic performance practices,


monitor enrolment limits, etc.); and student facing processes including front-line support to students regarding academic records, registration


issues, transcript requests, assembling diploma packages and other services.




REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

o Minimum 2 years related office experience


Experience and demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office suite of applications Effective and culturally relevant communication and interpersonal skills Effective problem solving and analytical skills Effective organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a busy office environment Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of indigenous cultures Commitment to life-long learning

ASSETS

o Completed relevant post-secondary certificate or diploma


Experience in records or information management Experience with UCN's student information system (Jenzabar / Colleague UI)
