Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable student Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions while providing exceptional service. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care and assistance in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses that meet their needs.

Duties

Assist customers in selecting eyewear by understanding their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Provide expert advice on lens options, frame styles, and fitting techniques. Perform measurements for eyewear fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort. Maintain an organized display of optical products and ensure inventory is well-stocked. Process orders for eyewear and manage the dispensing of glasses and contact lenses. Collaborate with optometrists to provide seamless patient care, including interpreting prescriptions. Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Skills

Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as WINK is beneficial. Proficient in retail sales techniques to enhance customer experience. Understanding of medical terminology related to eye care is advantageous.
