McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world\'s largest high-grade uranium mine. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• provide engineering expertise through surveying, ventilation, production and development layouts, short term planning, ground control and project work
• Work closely with the mine engineering group to further develop your work experience while providing your expertise in all aspects of mine engineering in an underground mine

The successful candidate will work a term of approximately 8 months (May to December 2024).

Required:

• You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student in geological or mine engineering, or other applicable academic fields.
• Demonstrate resolute attitude towards safety
• Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
