This is a government funded student position. You must be a full-time undergraduate student and a Canadian citizen/permanent resident to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with content creation for social media, newsletters, and product listings.
Update and maintain the online store (images, product descriptions, inventory).
Support marketing campaigns--including seasonal promotions and partnerships.
Create and schedule social media posts highlighting new products and community impact.
Conduct market research on audience engagement and emerging trends.
Assist with SEO and analytics tracking (website traffic, sales data, social media reach).
Help develop visual assets (graphics, short videos, etc.) for digital marketing.
Provide general administrative support to the marketing and operations teams.
Qualifications
Current student in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Strong written and visual communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
Experience with Canva, Shopify, or similar tools is an asset.
Interest in community-focused and socially responsible brands.
Responsibilities
Create engaging content for various platforms including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
Manage social media accounts and execute targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness.
Utilize SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines.
Oversee e-commerce initiatives to enhance online sales performance.
Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in digital marketing.
Strong understanding of SEO, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing techniques.
Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track campaign performance.
Familiarity with Shopify and Squarespace for website management and content updates.
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling messages that resonate with target audiences.
