Job Summary:
Reporting to the Campus Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for providing the vital first impression of a dynamic college and assisting with the daily operations of the campus. The incumbent will work at our Toronto Campus location from 09:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
Welcome visitors to college; answer, screen and forward incoming calls; maintain rapport with students, staff and the public with customer service focus.
Engage with students, providing detailed insights into our admission process.
Assist in the admissions process, conduct admissions interviews, and facilitate the processing of paperwork for accepted students, ensuring a smooth transition into the academic community.
Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, correspondence preparation, mail, filing, ordering supplies, and creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy files.
Updating student files as necessary.
Contribute to student recruitment efforts by coordinating engaging promotional events and facilitating campus tours.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for students, offering guidance through the application and acceptance journey.
Provides guidance on a full range of admissions services and support such as general and program specific admissions information, available programs, alternate offers of admission, admission timelines and other related policies and procedures to prospects, applicants, current students and other stakeholders.

College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in a similar office and/or reception environment
