The student analyst will be a key member of the Oxford Finance Transformation team and will play an integral role on our ongoing process, people, and technology improvement initiatives across the Global Finance & Technology team.



Responsibilities:



Participate in the delivery of projects by working closely with finance and technology professionals and external vendors



Assist in the preparation of data analysis, process documentation, and reporting



Support project management activities as required (project progress, status, and issues/risk tracking)



Prepare and provide analytical insights on improvement opportunities within our project portfolio



Support our finance learning & development content creation, delivery and administration



Participate in ad hoc initiatives and special projects as required



Aid the Data Engineers building pipelines and help maintain the data warehouse



Assist in Data Modeling initiatives, such as developing best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models



Support Data Governance initiatives across the organization, standing up market best practices for framework in multiple areas



Qualifications:



Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or a related field



Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills



Ability to work in a collaborative team environment



Strong organizational skills and attention to detail



Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines



Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)



Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision



Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required); Visio is an asset



Prior real estate experience and/or previous experience in a project-based environment is considered an asset
