Duties:

Hold regular tutoring sessions for students enrolled in either 15:151 BOL & 15:162 CGE (concurrent classes):


Assist students with understanding of course content. Explain concepts, clarify information, answer student questions, and offer support. Administer practice tests to assist with learning material and prepare for actual tests or examination. Assist with other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Preference given to current Brandon University senior undergraduate student; or a student enrolled in graduate program or holding a graduate degree. Specific courses related to the given department/faculty in which the job is needed when indicated in the posting Strong academic standing in the courses intended to tutor, with a minimum "B" grade. Previous tutoring experience is considered a strong asset. Work with minimal to no direct supervision. Working hours may include day, evening as needed. Work in small group settings.
