Duties:



The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for Student Assistants for the following courses during the Fall 2025 term:



74:151 General Physics I Assign. Marker Up to 6 hrs per wk for up to 9 wks

74:161 Foundations of Physics I Assign. Marker Up to 6 hrs per wk for up to 8 wks

74:151 General Physics I Lab Marker Up to 6 hrs per wk for up to 10 wks

74:161 Foundations of Physics I Lab Marker Up to 6 hrs per wk for up to 10 wks



The successful candidates will mark assignments or lab reports from a marking key, and other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications/Experience:



Preference given to current Brandon University student; second year undergraduate level/standing is required Successful completion of course(s) for which they are applying Demonstrated success in other Physics courses Ability to meet deadlines (reliable and punctual) Ability to interpret and follow marking guide Ability to use judgement to evaluate alternative solutions
