Duties:
To assist with during scheduled weekly labs under the direction of the lab instructor for 38:170 (How Earth Works: Applied Physical Geography) during the Fall term.
1. Assist instructor with set-up or demonstrations.
2. Help to explain labs and answer students' questions during lab time.
3. Keep work areas clean and tidy.
4. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Skill set:
Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively;
Ability to work courteously with the public;
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable
Education and Experience:
Preference given to current Brandon University student; at least second year undergraduate level is required;
-Strong academic standing with a Grade of A- or above in the course (38:170 How Earth Works);
Demonstrated success in advanced Geography & Environment courses is an asset;
Previous experience preferred.
