Now Hiring: Structural Ironworkers (Apprentice & Journeyman)

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Whitemud Ironworks Limited is one of Western Canada's leading open-shop steel fabricator and erector, with over 25 years of proven performance in the commercial construction industry. With offices and crews across Alberta and BC, and more than 400,000 sq. ft. of fabrication space across three shops, we have the resources and the experience to take on complex structural steel projects -- and deliver them safely, on time, and with precision.

The Job:

We're hiring full-time temporary

Apprentice and Journeyman Structural Ironworkers

for commercial projects based out of Calgary

, Alberta

on a temporary basis (6-8 months).

What You'll Do

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Sort, rig, and prepare structural steel for erection Erect structural, ornamental, and miscellaneous steel components Perform modification and repair work on existing steel structures Work in various site conditions, in town and out of town, with overtime as needed

What We're Looking For

Registered

Apprentice or Journeyman

Ironworker with structural experience Previous work on commercial projects is preferred Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Legally eligible to work in Canada (we do not provide sponsorship at this time)
