As a Structural Fitter, you will be integral to the assembly and fabrication of structural components, ensuring they meet precise specifications. Reporting to the Lead Fabricator, your core skills in blueprint reading, welding, and the use of hand and power tools will be essential. You will also utilize premium skills such as MIG and TIG welding, along with rigging and crane operation, to execute projects efficiently. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand and power tools, including welding equipment, to assemble and fit structural components.
Operate cranes and forklifts to transport materials safely.
Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks as required, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
A minimum 5 years fitting experience is necessary.
Provide your own welding helmet & safety boots. All other supplies are provided by RNR Steel.
Driver's license is an asset
