Aker Solutions is actively seeking a Structural Field Engineer to join us in Belfast working on the life extension of an FPSO. The vessel is expected to arrive at the Belfast shipyard in February 2024, where it will remain in the dry dock for five months while work is completed. This is a rotational position, 28 days on and 28 days off.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the LED Construction lead, the Structural Field Engineer will:
- Oversight shipyard / OEM construction
- Single point of contact for assigned work
- Ensure SQ\'s are directed to DRE\'s
- Provide daily progress updates
- Exhibit review / MC Sign off
- Material verification / backloads
- Journey Person certificate in applicable discipline
