Candidate Profile:



We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and talented Structural Engineer/Technologist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing structural drawings, performing basic structural design and conducting field reviews, with opportunities for career growth.

The successful candidate will bring the following skills and expertise:

Technical Proficiency



Structural drawing preparation from concept to construction phase Proficiency in Bluebeam and AutoCAD Experience in basic structural design and analysis Field review and construction administration experience Competency in MS Office for documentation and reporting

Key Responsibilities:



As a Structural Engineer/Technologist, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Working under the direction of senior team members to perform field reviews of structural components for buildings under construction Reviewing shop drawings and assisting the design team in reviewing and responding to site inquiries Representing Noven at job site meetings with contractors and other consultants Collating material test reports and performing miscellaneous clerical duties related to field reviews Preparing and updating field review reports, Site Instructions (SI), and Requests for Information (RFI). Assisting Project Engineers in developing budgets for field review activities and monitoring them over the course of construction Coordinating structural work with other disciplines to ensure effective execution Bringing site and design issues to the attention of the Noven design team

Communication and Collaboration:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interactions

Organizational and Time Management:



Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Qualifications and Experience:



Diploma in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent, OR a Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university Previous field review experience is essential. A valid BC driver's license is required

Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
