About the Company

Burnco Manufacturing is a leading Structural Steel Fabricator based in Vaughan Ontario specializing in Heavy Structural Fabrication including Structural Steel Bridges and Railway Bridges.

About the Role

We are looking for Senior Structural Engineer with Steel Bridge experience to lead the Engineering role in the company to support the Fabrication process and the Project Management team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage and support projects with oversight from proposal pre-bid phase to construction administration.

Responsibilities

Lead the Engineering team. Support the Project Management team. Manage and support projects from proposal pre-bid phase to construction administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a Canadian University. PEO registered or registered in another Canadian Province for at least 10 years Demonstrated experience in Bridge Engineering, Project Management or Bridge installation Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills

Bridge Engineering expertise. Project Management experience. Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Heavy Structural Fabrication and Bridge Sector. Aptitude for commercial aspects of the business.

Pay range and compensation package

This is a very senior position with opportunity to grow into an executive level position upon demonstration of skills and aptitude for the commercial aspects of our business.

The very competitive compensation package will be commensurate with the experience level of the candidate
