Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all regulations. The Structural Engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Develop and analyze structural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Etabs, SAP2000, StaadPro Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects. Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with project management teams to establish timelines and budgets for engineering projects. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration during the design process. Perform calculations using Mathcad to validate design integrity. Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and address any structural issues that arise. Prepare reports and documentation related to project specifications and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Etabs, SAP2000, StaadPro for steel and wood analysis. Strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Experience in project management is preferred. Excellent mathematical skills for structural analysis and design calculations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-engineers.
