Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer and Plant engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, , and infrastructure developments. Your expertise will ensure that structures are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality results efficiently and effectively.

Duties



Develop detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software to create precise drawings and models. Perform structural analysis using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and Mathcad to evaluate load capacities, stress distributions, and system performance under various conditions. Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation with clarity and accuracy for review by clients and regulatory agencies. Coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely completion of design phases while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Review Csa concrete test data Participte in CSA audits Prepare project letters of conformance Oversee system design aspects related to civil engineering principles, including foundation design, framing systems, and load-bearing structures. Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and address any structural concerns promptly. Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to assess soil conditions affecting foundation design and integrate geotechnical data into structural plans. Utilize GIS tools for site analysis and environmental considerations impacting structural planning. Manage project management tasks such as resource allocation, budgeting support, and progress tracking to meet project milestones efficiently. Engage in technical writing for project proposals, reports, and compliance documentation to ensure clarity and professionalism in all communications. Support construction teams by providing technical guidance during implementation phases and resolving on-site issues related to system design or drafting discrepancies.

Experience



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles. Proven experience in structural design, analysis, drafting, and project management within a consulting or construction environment. Proficiency with industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Mathcad, System Design tools, and FEA applications. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles such as load calculations, material properties, foundation systems, and construction practices. Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts and GIS applications relevant to site assessment and planning. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across phases of design development through construction oversight is highly desirable. Excellent technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports and project documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance. Pay: $24.08-$35.00 per hour
