Structural Engineer
to join our team and help us take our projects to the next level.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified
Structural Engineer
with experience in prefab and modular construction. You will work closely with our design and construction teams to ensure our builds meet all structural requirements, codes, and standards. This role will start on a part-time contract basis with the intention to transition into a full-time position as our project load continues to grow.

fully remote
, allowing you to work from home. While our head office is in Calgary and our shop is in Leduc, your role will not require regular on-site presence--though occasional site visits may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Provide structural engineering design and analysis for prefab modular building projects
Review and approve drawings, specifications, and structural plans
Ensure compliance with Alberta Building Code and other applicable standards
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop efficient, cost-effective solutions
Conduct occasional site visits and inspections as needed
Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and documentation for permits and approvals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta (or eligible for registration)
Experience in prefab/modular construction preferred
Strong knowledge of Canadian and Alberta Building Codes
Proficient in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
