We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated
Draftsperson
to join our dynamic team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of infrastructure projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and supportive office environment.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD for a variety of design projects, including both new construction and rehabilitation of bridge structures, marine infrastructure, industrial facilities, offshore oil and gas platforms, buildings, retaining walls, and temporary works related to construction or demolition.
Collaborate regularly with design engineers on assigned projects.
Maintain organized file storage systems for engineering plans and tender documents.
Ensure drafting standards align with company practices.
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers.
Stay updated on industry drafting standards and software updates.
Qualifications
Certification from a recognized educational institution in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is considered asset.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality planning skills.
Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
