Our team in Canada is growing. We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Structural Drafter to join our Industrial and Infrastructure Business line in the Burnaby office. Your skills should include strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D is a bonus), team and organizational experience, excellent communication skills, and technical strengths in Structural building systems. This person will be tasked with 2D drawings, and design collaboration under the guidance of senior designers and engineers.

About the Role:

Deliver design drafting according to key deliverables by preparing design elements on time and according to quality standards. Maintain consistent design standards across a variety of infrastructure and industrial projects by understanding and adhering to Ausenco design drafting standards. Provide support to projects by assisting senior designers and performing a range of tasks as required. Provide design suggestions where appropriate as part of the design team. Work with designers and drafters across the business in a range of design tasks. Liaise with engineers and senior designers for direction, specifications, and feedback.

About You:

A Drafting Certificate or Technical diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in Structural Drafting. Experience with

AutoCAD is a must

Experience with Civil 3D, Autodesk Advanced Steel, Autodesk 3D, Revit or Bently PRO-Structures, would be an asset. 3+ years' experience in a consulting engineering firm preferred. Proven attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Strong written and oral communication skills Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and projects. Able to work and communicate in a team environment.

Salary range: $60,000-$75,000

Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
