Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Designer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Generating 3D models with SP3D based on engineers' design sketches for steel structures, pile foundation, and buildings

Creating 2D drawings from reference of the SP3D models

Ensuring all drawings and materials are in accordance with client specifications and standards

Assisting site during construction

Reporting progress of work assignments to immediate supervisor

Preparing as-built drawings based on field red-line markups

Requirements:

1-5 years' experience of design in the oil and gas industry Advanced computer skills and experience in major drafting and design software such as Auto CAD, CAD Worx, and SP3D Technical school certification / degree or equivalent experience Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and piping Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail COOEC Canada Company Ltd. is a Calgary-based EPCM firm. We are increasingly growing in the oil and gas field and specializing in engineering, design, and construction management. Currently, we are executing a wide range of SAGD, refinery, facility, pipeline, and multiple capital retainment projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
