Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned
Aircraft Structural Designer (15+ years)
with extensive experience inaircraft structure design, system installation layouts, and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) mounting
. The candidate will lead design activities, ensure configuration integrity, and drive high-quality design deliverables meeting airworthiness and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities
Lead the
conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design
of aircraft structural components and system installations. Design and integratesystem routing (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, ECS, fuel, etc.)
with structural provisions. Develop and validateLRU mounting solutions
ensuring maintainability, accessibility, and structural integrity. Prepare3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
using CATIA V5/V6 or equivalent CAD tools. Performinterface definition
between structure, systems, and equipment installations. Review and validatestress and structural analysis inputs
in collaboration with the stress team. Ensurecompliance with airworthiness standards (CS/FAR 25, MIL, or equivalent)
and internal design practices. Createbill of materials (BOMs)
,installation drawings
, andchange notes
as per configuration management processes. Participate indesign reviews (PDR/CDR)
and coordinate with manufacturing, production, and installation teams. Mentor junior designers and ensure adherence to design quality and best practices.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,522.22-$126,790.15 per year
