TELUS Business Architecture Team embraces a nimble & pragmatic approach in shaping both mid and long-term investments required by TELUS Business Solutions (TBS). The team strives to ensure that each investment will deliver the most efficient, precise and impactful results across the products and services offered by TELUS Business Solutions.

You will be part of a team that will identify and prioritize multiple key transformation efforts, for TELUS Business to fulfill our market strategy and customer experience vision.

What you\'ll do

As the Strategy Manager for TBS Business Architecture - Strategic Alignment & Governance you will:

• Continue to develop the operating model of the Business Architecture Practice and its alignment with business owners & marketing teams, enterprise architecture, portfolio, program & enablement teams
• Develop, iteratively maintain and leverage Business Architecture artifacts such as Blueprints, Heatmaps, Visualization Diagrams as tools in investment assessments
• Align artifacts with stakeholders to ensure that it is understood, can be mapped to key artifacts maintained by stakeholders and consumable when published
• Track the impact of investment upon project completion to document, report and recommend on the next investment cycle
• Develop a regular cadence with Market, Customer, Operational, Digital & Technical stakeholder groups to gain insight to the changes in their mid and long-term strategies and reflect in the Business Architecture Blueprint
• Employ strategic scenario mapping, business & financial analysis, evaluation, problem solving and ideation

Qualifications

What you bring

• Applied experience in utilizing industry best practices to understand various perspectives and motivators; illustrating alignment to business strategy, vendor management and business opportunities
• Applied experience in defining models, processes & success metrics to enable delivery of capabilities and alignment to contract terms and agreements
• Applied experience in developing strategic requirements and collaborating with IT and technical architecture primes to develop long-term investment plans
• Advanced storytelling & communication skills conveying complex and/or ambiguous business problem in a clear and simple way that is understood by the target audience
• Proven ability to engage and build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and all levels of leadership, including executives
• Proven leadership, influencing, problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Known for being highly motivated, creative and self-sufficient with the ability to work successfully in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Known for your ability and agility to excel in dynamic and ambiguous environments, including proactivity identifying opportunities and challenges, and anticipating and addressing roadblocks
• Trained Business Architecture best practice & modeling experience
• 7-10 years of B2B Communications Industry experience with a mix of the following: Management Consulting Analyst experience, Technology Strategy experience and Transformation/Change Management experience
• University degree or equivalent experience

Great-to-haves

• Previous Telecommunications experience
